Yes! You can apply in advance. Even 11th-grade students can secure a seat early. However, final admission is subject to meeting the eligibility requirements.
No, admission to the Kalvium programme is based on your KNET performance, not your JEE score. Eligibility is determined by clearing the KNET cutoffs and the criteria set by the respective partner university. JEE scores are not required for this programme.

Yes. The Kalvium National Entrance Test (KNET) is an online exam that tests an applicant's natural reasoning and communication abilities and determines fitness for the Kalvium upskilling program.
The KNET is designed to assess your natural abilities, so there’s no need for prior practice. However, all registrants receive access to mock tests on the portal to help them get familiar with the testing platform and types of questions.

The test is conducted online. You can take it from home using a laptop or PC with a webcam and microphone. Detailed instructions on how to set up your test environment will be shared prior to the KNET.
No. The KNET is designed to be attempted ONLY on a PC/Laptop. We recommend using your PC/Laptop or taking the test from an internet cafe or test center.
Option 1 – Borrow an external webcam from a friend if possible.
Option 2 – Use external apps which will help you turn your mobile phone into a webcam. We recommend DroidCam.
Windows Desktop Client (Download) – Once you install the required client and app, you may have to configure your browser to use your mobile phone as your camera source. For this, if you’re using Google Chrome, please head to the ‘Privacy and Security‘ section under settings.
The KNET is a test designed by top tech executives for assessing a student’s fitment for a career in software. It tests students’ innate abilities and not rote learning.
The test is divided into 3 sections:
1. Learnability & Comprehension: This section tests the student’s ability to learn new information and use it in different contexts.
2. Problem Solving: This section tests the student’s ability to analyse and solve complex problems by breaking them into simpler steps.
3. Communication: This section tests if the student can communicate in English verbally.
The duration to finish the KNET is 120 Minutes. Once the test starts, it must be finished in 2 hrs. So, do make sure to have uninterrupted internet access and power backup.
You can check your KNET score by signing into your Kalvium admission portal and navigating to the KNET section to view your results.
The result date will be announced shortly after the KNET. On that day, you can log in to check your results.

Yes, each university has its own established eligibility criteria and admission policies including minimum marks required. Students must meet these requirements for 10th and 12th grade to be eligible for admission.
The exact start date depends on the partner university you are admitted to. You will be informed as soon as the respective university finalizes the start date for its academic year for the programme.
